A Fanbyte worker Merritt K tweeted on Friday: “I see a ton of sympathy going out to each and every individual who was terminated today however we should if it’s not too much trouble, likewise spare some thought for individuals who needed to terminate everybody individually throughout the span of endless hours, drawing out the heavenly mental torment.”

Tencent didn’t offer an authority remark on the turn of events.

Last month, Tencent terminated 5,500 workers, in the wake of posting an income of $19.8 billion in the June quarter, down 3% which was the principal decline since opening up to the world.
