Not only can they fly around the map with the Superperson mod, but they can also buy and fly helicopters! Being able to fly is something console players can only dream of. I’ve often wondered how amazing the view would be from one of the hot air balloons floating above Haut-Beyleron. I really do think the next installment of Farming Simulator should have some sort of crop-dusting capability, even if it means hiring a worker to do it for you. It would add a great deal of realism, and fun, to the game. At the very least, give us hot air balloon rides! For now, console users will have to keep their feet planted firmly on the ground, and watch PC/MAC users having all the fun.
5. Helipad
Check Out This Mod Price: €12,000 Capacity: 10,000 liters First things first: if you’re going to buy a helicopter, you’re going to need a helipad. I mean you can’t just land your helicopter in a field, right? Well, yes, I suppose you could. But, this futuristic-looking helipad comes with built-in liquid storage. It holds 5,000 liters of both fertilizer and 5,000 liters of herbicide. It even comes with 2,500 liters of each – free from the dealership! And, when you need more, you can buy it directly from the helipad itself. That’s right, you can fill your helicopter with all of your favorite chemicals as part of your pre-flight checks. Does your field do that? Note: This mod appears in the construction tab under the buildings heading, and then under tools.
4. Sikorsky S64 Skycrane
Check Out This Mod Price: €45,000 Engine: 650 hp Top Speed: 170 km/h Fuel: 620 liter This is a great looking helicopter, which is really fun to fly. And, if they ever figure out how to make it actually lift anything, it will be an amazing mod. In real life, the Sikorsky S64 Skycrane is a twin-engine heavy-lift helicopter used by armed forces, and emergency services, across the globe. From lifting cars to putting out forest fires, you name it, it does it. Sadly, this mod doesn’t actually have the ability to lift anything in the game, which is a real shame. It would be awesome to be able to call in aerial support whenever a piece of machinery gets stuck! I will see a tractor fly one day.
3. Airbus H160
Check Out This Mod Price: €45,000 Engine: 650 hp Top Speed: 170 km/h Fuel: 620 liter If you’re looking for a helicopter purely to fly around and admire your farm, this is the best there is. The Airbus ACH160 is a luxury helicopter, with a base price of over $14 million. And, in Farming Simulator ’22, it can be yours for a mere €45,000. It seats up to ten people, and it looks and sounds amazing. It really is a pleasure to fly. It’s great for admiring your farm from above, especially when you have workers busy in your fields.
2. Ka-25 Agricultural
Check Out This Mod Price: €45,000 Engine: 650 hp Top Speed: 170 km/h Fuel: 620 liter Capacity: 800 liter Working Width: 30m As nice as it is to fly around admiring your farm, there’s work to be done! And, the Ka-25 will help you finish in record time. With two 325hp engines, and a top speed of 170 km/h, this thing certainly doesn’t hang about! It has a capacious 800 liter storage tank, which allows you to spread fertilizer or herbicide onto your fields from the air. It’s perfect if you like to leave crop destruction on, and don’t want trample your precious crops with a tractor. I also get some serious Star Wars vibes from this helicopter – it’s great if you want to pretend you’re a farmer for the Rebel Alliance!
1. Alouette II SE 313B Sprayer
Check Out This Mod Price: €115,000 Engine: 360 hp Top Speed: 185 km/h Fuel: 580 liter Capacity: 650 liter Working Width: 30m Sure, the Alouette doesn’t have the horsepower, fuel capacity, or storage capacity of the Ka-25 Agricultural. And it’s more than twice the price. But I think it looks and flies so much better. It is faster than the Ka-25 and, paired with the helipad at the top of this list, it’s an awesome bit of kit, which allows you to fill up on fertilizer or herbicide directly from the helipad. The interior also looks really slick, and its design means that you have almost a 360° view of the fields below. One day console users, one day.
