Wherever Lissandra the Ice Witch goes, she summons a blizzard of chaos and destruction. With impaling ice shards, soul-freezing frost, and a hypothermia-inducing passive, she destroys her enemies’ hopes and leaves demise as their only companion. The only thing this frozen-hearted witch can’t summon? A bewitching look. Yep, sadly, Lissandra’s base model is a far cry from Bewitching Morgana. It’s dull. It’s basic. It’s not badass in the slightest. But hey, you can take hold of the wand and conjure up the look for her; she has a fair few skins that give her the domineering look she deserves. And I guarantee at least one of these skins will enchant your heart too!
6. Bloodstone Lissandra
Released: April 29th, 2013 Price: 975 RP
Lissandra is one of the oldest champions in the game.
So it’s not a surprise that her first released skin is… Well, basically a chroma.
This skin pretty much just transforms Lissandra from an icy witch into a fiery demon. Instead of ice, she summons fire and molten lava, and her light hues are replaced with dark grays, reds and purples.
Personally I would never fork out for this skin, especially considering it’s priced at 975 RP.
However, her abilities do look badass – she blasts opponents down with hellfire – and the animations are surprisingly smooth for a 2013 skin.
If you want to blaze your way to the victory screen while leaving the enemies’ LP charred, this skin is definitely worth the buck.
5. Blade Queen Lissandra
Released: May 26th, 2014 Price: 1350 RP
This skin gives Lissandra a metal headdress equipped with blades and an iron-maiden inspired face.
It also swaps out her icy dress for a sleek-looking purple one.
While this skin is definitely unique, it doesn’t really deliver the “blade queen” vibe it set out to do.
The dress looks too neat and elegant (come on Rito, give us some badass slashes, wear and tears) and the iron maiden face just doesn’t resonate with me.
Instead it just reminds me of one of those cheap dollar masks you find in a shop’s Halloween sale.
I suppose money can’t buy you the life of royalty after all.
That said, the blades are stunning and the ultimate animation is pretty awesome. Lissandra brings forth an actual iron maiden and lets it consume her enemy without any hesitation.
Totally coldblooded.
Plus she even lets the iron maiden consume her too – no pain, no gain, ‘ey?
4. Program Lissandra
Released: April 6th, 2016 Price: 1350 RP With Program Lissandra “embrace the cold” takes on a whole other meaning. Rather than feeling icy wrath, you’ll be feeling the coldness of an incredibly stylish, metal automaton. Program Lissandra has everything any sci-fi loving player could ever want: A neon, spacey headdress? Check. A body literally built different adorned with wires, bolts, and futuristic gear? Check. A giant robotic hand that claws its way through the enemy? Checkity check! Even the voice lines – which have a glitch-like effect added – help immerse you in the skin’s sci-fi vibe. Plus her death animation is strangely beautiful: While her artificial body breaks apart and crumbles, her “soul” (at least, I like to think it is) still lives on, flying up to the sky in the form of blue lights. And the best part of this skin has to be the ultimate. If Lissandra uses the ult on herself, it transforms her into a full on mecha-like robot. Pure badass.
3. Porcelain Lissandra
Released: January 26th, 2022 Price: 1350 RP The Porcelain skin line has to be one of the weirdest ideas Riot has ever had. Everyone can understand what a “Dark Cosmic” skin is, but “Porcelain” is a bit more out there. And yet, this skin actually makes sense. Through your backing animation, we immediately learn that the porcelain vases hold some type of snake spirit that Lissandra can control. Personally, I’ll always stan a backing animation that literally gives me lore. The snake motif returns subtly in a few abilities, and then in full glory for your self-cast ult. However, when you ult an enemy, it’s more of a flower shape. Said flower shape also appears for your W root. So, for now, we have snakes and flowers. Your Q honestly just feels like you’re throwing teacups at people – and I can totally dig it. And the E is just in a league of its own. The porcelain hand design looks extremely haunting and yet beautiful. However, I will point out that it’s also incredibly (and I mean INCREDIBLY) easy to spot. So, all of your abilities live up to the name. But wait until you hear those sound effects – because they are incredibly punchy and very satisfying. Lastly, I want to talk about the chromas – because that’s actually a big selling point for this skin. I say that because there are nine of them in total and each one changes the color scheme of almost all of your abilities (and even your backing animation). Now that’s not something you see every day. Needless to say, this skin is worth a look!
2. Coven Lissandra
Released: November 27th, 2018 Price: 1350 RP Coven Lissandra is a skin that’ll no doubt cast a spell over your heart; it finally makes Lissandra bewitching. The stunning witchy-themed dress is fit for the Met Gala, and the headdress looks like a work of art in itself. You could hang it up on display at an art gallery, and I guarantee it’d be met with a zillion admirers. But Coven Lissandra isn’t all looks and no substance. Her animations are equally divine. Her recall summons beautiful red flowers, which she then absorbs and uses to transform into a flock of ravens (totally witchy). Her abilities also have a dark and mysterious feel, thanks to their purple shades and “misty” effect. Plus her ultimate encages her in a satanic-looking statue, adding further to her beautiful but deadly look. Coven Lissandra is truly the skin all Liss mains have been waiting eons for. Seriously Riot, why deprive us for 5 years??
1. Dark Cosmic Lissandra
Released: November 24th, 2020 Price: 1350 RP So what skin could possibly top Coven Lissandra? Well, how about one that’s out of this world? Introducing Dark Cosmic: a skin that turns Lissandra from icy witch to magical space sorceress. This is not just Lissandra’s best skin; it’s one of the best skins in the whole game. Her hair is made up of galaxies, and her outfit is a mix of nebulas, stars, and spacey magic. There’s also plenty of gorgeous added touches, with my personal favorite being her eclipse-like headdress. And how could I forget? The skin’s splashart is worth the money by itself. Really the art is beautiful, featuring Lissandra controlling galaxies and holding a planet in the palm of her hand. It truly captures the ethereal and gorgeous yet powerful nature of Lissandra, and getting to see this splash art as you load into games is a treat every single time.
